The flow of fluid due to peristaltic pumping along the length of tube was discussed by Jaffrin [1]. Pozrikidis [2] had studied the two dimensional peristaltic flow for low value of Reynolds number and comparatively large value of wavelength. WebPeristalsis is the reflex propagation of a wave of muscular contraction along the gut wall. It is an important component of gut motility, as it creates a tendency for the intraluminal contents to be propelled along in the normal anterograde manner.
