WebbA complete theory of well-being must be able to give a coherent and compelling account of the positive values of both pleasant and unpleasant life experiences, especially suffering. Both Ryff’s model and my meaning-management model meet this criterion. Paula Robinson’s model of mental fitness also meets this criterion.
